Harry Christophers has been at the forefront of choral music for the last 45 years and this album, in celebration of his 70th birthday, demonstrates the breadth of his musical passions and the wealth of repertoire he has recorded over the years. Featuring 39 tracks hand-picked by the conductor, the works on this collection document Harry Christophers’ life in music—from his early years as a chorister at Canterbury Cathedral, through his time at Magdalen College, Oxford, and subsequent founding of The Sixteen, to more recent years as Artistic Director of America’s renowned Handel and Haydn Society. This collection charts his discovery as a boy of Purcell and Poulenc to his enduring love for the music of Victoria and Handel and his celebrated partnership with James MacMillan.

What’s Love Got To Do With It the soundtrack album to her 1993 bio-pick featuring re-records of Ike and Tina classics and other covers has been given the Deluxe Edition treatment. What’s Love Got To Do With It (30th Anniversary Edition) will be released on multi-formats including the 4CD + DVD Deluxe package featuring CDs of the Original Album Remastered, B-sides, Remixes and Rarities, ‘What’s Love, Live’ plus a DVD with ‘What’s Love, Live’ from Blockbuster Pavillion, San Bernadino, California. 15th September 1993 plus promo videos. The 2CD version will have the Original Album Remastered and an additional CD of B-sides, Remixes and Rarities and the 1LP will be the Original Album Remastered.

Après trois premiers albums, dont deux certifiés platine et or, Pomme dévoile son nouveau projet ‘Saisons’. Sur la seconde moitié de l’opus, ‘printemps-été’, elle s’accompagne d’une orchestration classique, dont les parties sont composées et dirigées par Malvina, cheffe d’orchestre qui l’accompagne également lors d’une série de concerts exceptionnels en novembre 2023 passée notamment par deux Zéniths de Paris complets.

Regarded as one of the most remarkable string quartets in Europe, the Cherubini Quartet was formed in 1978 in Düsseldorf under the patronage of the Amadeus Quartet and Sándor Végh. They performed at prestigious venues across the United States and Europe, received several international prizes. The quartet disbanded in 1997, making this boxset a virtual tour of its entire recording legacy.
