Mastered by George Marino at Sterling Sound from the original analog master tapes to vinyl and PCM. Tea For The Tillerman is one of Cat Stevens' finest albums and a gem in the crown of early 1970s singer/songwriter. Stevens manages to have his cake and eat it too, simultaneously achieving pop accessibility and artistic relevance. The feel is decidedly gentle and spare. Apart from the occasional string section, Stevens is accompanied only by a three-piece band as he sings his introspective lyrics with appreciable favor.

Mona Bone Jakon only began Cat Stevens' comeback. Seven months later, he returned with Tea for the Tillerman, an album in the same chamber-group style, employing the same musicians and producer, but with a far more confident tone. Mona Bone Jakon had been full of references to death, but Tea for the Tillerman was not about dying; it was about living in the modern world while rejecting it in favor of spiritual fulfillment. It began with a statement of purpose, "Where Do the Children Play?," in which Stevens questioned the value of technology and progress. "Wild World" found the singer being dumped by a girl, but making the novel suggestion that she should stay with him because she was incapable of handling things without him…

Behind the name Cat Squirrel lies a group of Iberian blues 'pistolleros' fronted by a pure English blues legend: none other than the immense Mike Vernon. Creator of the Blue Horizon label in the 60s, discoverer/producer/collaborator (take your pick) of some major projects like John Mayall's legendary Bluesbreakers album, Fleetwood Mac's very first album or David Bowie's first recordings, our man has a CV as long as the meanders of the Thames. In short, he knows the blues, and not just a little! And listening to the album 'Blues What Am' confirms this beyond any doubt.

Doja Cat Announces "Scarlet 2: Claude Frollo" And Reveals A Mystery Feature In New Trailer. Doja Cat still has a lot of haters out there, but that is not going to stop her one bit from making a massive return. A few days ago, the California rapper and singer revealed cover art for an upcoming single "Masc." It went viral on social media, with fans declaring it was the artist's "pubic hair" or "sheep's wool". However, she decided to clear the air, albeit frustratingly. "Let’s move forward. Let’s grow. “Cause I can’t tell you what to do, I’m not your f***ing parents. Like pubic hair? Really? That’s where we stand." Dust settling aside, this Doja Cat track was announced to promote Scarlet 2: Claude Frollo, the deluxe of her last record.
