How I Do is the 2001 debut album from Philadelphia singer Shareese Renée Ballard, who goes by the singular name of Res ("reese"). Released by MCA, Res received a lot of attention for her style of soul singing mixed in with pop rock, leaving some critics to call her the next Stevie Nicks. While a duet with rapper Nas crossed her over to hip-hop audiences, it was "Golden Boys" and "They-Say Vision" that helped push her towards pop and rock audiences. This CD was released on 26 June, 2001.
