It's a struggle to summarise exactly what happens in the first half hour of Tian Zhuangzhuang's THE WARRIOR AND THE WOLF as it largely resembles a cobbled together mass of random sequences and unrelated footage from a frenzied shoot in the Mongolian wilderness, haphazardly lap dissolved back and forth into each other in a struggle to form a coherent narrative.

A love triangle brews amidst a growing political tempest in this "brilliantly intellectual" (Los Angeles Times) film in which nothing is quite as it seems. Adapted from the acclaimed novel by Graham Greene, Academy Award-winning writer-director Joseph L. Mankiewicz's screenplay "delivers dialogue that not only sparkles but bites deep with the irony of truth" (Citizen-News). In 1952, Saigon is caught between the corrupt colonial powers and the Communist uprising. An idealistic young American (Audie Murphy) champions a shadowy Third Force, but cynical British journalist Thomas Fowler (Michael Redgrave) is concerned only with the American's interest in his mistress. When jealousy forces Fowler to take sides at last, the personal and political consequences are devastating.

2003 was a big year for AC/DC which included their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to European dates with the Rolling Stones, the band made several high-profile public appearances (including the SARS concert in Toronto for 200,000 people). One run of shows found the band returning to their roots and playing clubs and theaters where fans were treated to sweaty, stripped-down shows and even playing some rarities they hadn't played in years. This DVD show from Munich, Germany was filmed at Circus Krone 2003 and this disc only available on the Deluxe Edition.

Signed to EMI in April 1974, consummate musicians David Paton/Billy Lyall/Stuart Tosh expertly meshed catchy tunes, punchy guitars and strong harmonies to score major international success with three albums in three years. From The Album Of. was written by Paton and Lyall and majorly demoed before they ever got to EMI's studios, whereupon they picked Alan Parsons from the in-house staff list to produce. Soft Rock meets Prog Rock with enough mainstream hooks to keep the customer more than satisfied. The Top 10 single 'Magic' is here in album form and original 'pre-strings' version. Bonus tracks also include two unreleased songs and a rare early off-shoot single released as Scotch Mist. RPM. 2009.
