Peasants, Pigs & Astronauts is the second album by the British indie and psychedelic rock band Kula Shaker. The album was released on 8 March 1999 and reached #9 in the UK Albums Chart, during a chart stay of 10 weeks. It was less successful in the U.S., however, where it failed to break into the Billboard 200 album chart. Peasants, Pigs & Astronauts was re-released in a 10th Anniversary, 2 CD edition on 20 January 2010. The 10th Anniversary edition included an expanded running order for the original album, with the outtake song "Strangefolk" included, as the band originally intended. It also featured previously unreleased demos, alternate versions of songs, and new artwork.

Rune Grammofon celebrates release number 100 with this quite excellent and suitable collection of tracks from 13 of their esteemed artists, old and new. When the label started to compile the album and look at possible track orders, they soon noticed the large number of quiet tracks they had received, making it closer in feel to a "real" album than a compilation, and by far the best compilation album they have done. Twelve tracks are exclusive to this release, including a track by up-and-coming Rune Grammofon artist Jenny Hval. As with previous compilations, Rune Grammofon has turned to song lyrics and poems for the title – this one is from William Butler Yeats' short but monumental poem "The Second Coming." Other artists include: Alog, The Low Frequency In Stereo, Ultralyd, Espen Eriksen Trio, In The Country, Bushman's Revenge, Hilde Marie Kjersem, Stian Westerhus, Maja Ratkje, Puma, Deathprod, and Supersilent.

Pure delight for Lalo Schifrin fans! World premiere of exciting soundtrack for Phillip Borsos crime thriller with Kurt Russell, Mariel Hemingway, Andy Garcia. Schifrin spins web of suspense, then unleashes wild excitement for full orchestra. Along way are detours into classic Schifrin jazz. Dynamic main title is one of several highlights, with scorching trumpet in lead. Haunting closing music ("Christine") also features trumpet. Composer wrote some 45 minutes of score with thematic development but also wrote over half hour of tiny fragments, transitions, stingers. We have assembled "the album" portion with maximum listening in mind but also include every short cue, fragment in "the extras" section of CD, plus roadmap in notes for those wishing to dispense with tighter album listening and instead program entire 77-minute score in sequence. Intrada was given access to actual 32-track digital session masters vaulted by MGM in pristine condition, allowing us to create brand new two-track digital stereo mixes of every cue!

Rhythm Shower is the 1973 studio album by The Upsetters, but also features tracks by Dillinger and Sir Lord Comic. Many of the rhythms on the album are known as those done by Lee “Scratch” Perry. Originally released in a very limited Jamaican pressing with no sleeve, it became better known after its reissue by Trojan Records as part of The Upsetter Collection. Rhythm Shower is available as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on orange coloured vinyl. Since the original release contained no sleeve, this edition is housed in a custom made sleeve by Music On Vinyl in collaboration with Trojan Records.

Pianist/composer Frank Kimbrough has been active on the New York jazz scene for more than 25 years. Rumors is his fourth release for Palmetto Records. A constant winner in the Downbeat Critics Poll and a much sought after sideman, Frank is a regular member of the Maria Schneider Orchestra and is featured prominently on her Grammy award winning CD, Concert in the Garden. Rumors was recorded at Avatar studios in NYC in a matter of just a few hours and the result is a sincere, swinging trio session.
