Motörhead was an English rock band formed in June 1975 by bassist, singer, and songwriter Ian Fraser Kilmister (1945–2015), professionally known by his stage name Lemmy, who had remained the sole constant member. The band are often considered a precursor to, or one of the earliest members of, the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, which re-energised heavy metal in the late 1970s and early 1980s. KUHN FU’s third album Chain the Snake is released by BERTHOLD records on March 22nd. Christian Kühn who also composed the music sees “stylistic changes since our last record. The band today is a paranoid – prog – punk – jazz performance,” he explains. Working on the previous album Kuhnspiracy, Kühn had suffered from a “post romantic jazz/rock disorder”, a condition unknown to reputable psychiatry. “The romantic stood for an unfulfilled craving, still there, but the punk who doesn’t care is winning at the moment” he explains.

Symphonic neo-prog featuring heavy melodic keyboards that compare favourably with ARENA, PENDRAGON and SHADOWLAND without actually aping them. Most of their material relies heavily on standard yet finely crafted pop structures. Formed in 1981, they have released five studio albums and one farewell live cd in 2000 before officially disbanding - it is said that at least four of their six members plus a new drummer continue making music under the name TYRO.
