Ultra-Lounge is a series of compilation CDs released by Capitol Records, featuring music predominantly from the 1950s and 1960s in genres such as exotica, space age pop, mambo, television theme songs, and lounge. Many of the volumes have since been made available for purchase via digital download. Each CD featured detailed liner notes along with two related drink recipes, tips on how to serve drinks to guests, and often photographs of sculptures made out of bartender items and other objects.

The Runaways were an American all-girl teenage rock band that recorded and performed in the second half of the 1970s. The band in a short lifetime released four studio and one live album, recorded in Japan where The Runaways were a sensation.

Through the 1930s, Coleman Hawkins growth is exponential, especially in his ballad playing. Buttery warm and cozy, he finds notes that always work within the chord and are clearly there for anyone to find. But he's the one who finds them. And what is there to say about his solo on 1939's "Body and Soul" that hasn't already been said? Included is material from Coleman's earliest days with Mamie Smith and her Jazz Hounds, his time with Henderson including various pseudonym bands and offshoots that shared personnel, the Mound City Blue Blowers, Benny Goodman's orchestra, Lionel Hampton, Benny Carter, Count Basie, co-leader sides with trumpeter Henry Red Allen, Cozy Cole, and a variety of all-star dates for Metronome, Leonard Feather, and Esquire, as well as recordings as a leader of his own dates. Our research has corrected many discrepancies in previous discographies.

If you liked the melodic and harmonic tunes of Traces o'red, this album surpasses all expectations. It sounds spectacular. No synthetic drums and bass. This is the real thing. Traces was also a great album to contain much midi, but this album does it superbly without any computersound. Also a faboluos song from their early days. So this band really deserves great recognition worldwide. Check it out. It is plain and simple geniality.
