The group's second album, cut late in 1967 amid their first major British success, is less focused than their first, but also presents a more majestic sound than its predecessor…
2025 release, the fourth solo album from electronic music legend, Claudia Brücken. Written and recorded in London between 2023-2025 with longtime collaborator John Williams, 'Night Mirror' is a stunning collection of 10 brand new songs, suffused with optimism, loosely bound by themes of reflection and rebirth. Having first come to notice as the lead singer of Düsseldorf electronic music pioneers Propaganda, one of the first signings to the celebrated ZTT Records (Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Art Of Noise, 808 State), Claudia's striking image and distinctive vocals made her one the most influential and inspiring female musicians of her generation.
As a guitarist, I have been influenced by such greats as; Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, Albert King, Frank Zappa , Jimmy Hendrix and John Mclaughlin. My goal is to articulate my emotions through the guitar. I surround myself with great musicians and recording engineer. I sincerely appreciate the people that take the time to listen to my music. ~ Jeff Liberman
The third installment of this series devoted to British '60s girl group-like sounds is, like the genre itself, not a match for the best American girl group music. But like its predecessors, it's a fairly good compilation, if more notable for inventive orchestral pop production than for the talents of the singers. Julie Driscoll, represented by the early single "I Know You Love Me Not" (which sounds a little like an experimental Dusty Springfield), is the only fairly well-known name on this 22-track disc, though Twinkle had some success in Britain, and Glenda Collins and Samantha Jones have their enthusiasts.
