In 1990 Neil Hannon started recording and releasing under the name The Divine Comedy. Thirty years and twelve great albums later, Hannon is rightly adjudged one of the finest singer songwriters of his generation. To celebrate, Divine Comedy Records are remastering and reissuing nine of the band's classic albums.

The acclaimed British soprano Louise Alder returns for her second recital on Chandos, joined once again by star pianist Joseph Middleton. Enthusiastic praise was widespread for her Chandos début, Lines Written during a Sleepless Night: The Russian Connection, which earned significant accolades in the USA and continental Europe in addition to the UK. For this recording the pair explore a rich and varied selection of French songs from the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Louse Alder writes: 'I have always held French song very dear to my heart and when we settled on this wildly varied programme, I quickly grew excited at the prospect of exploring the art form in virtually all its styles. From Ravel to Yvain, I hope we paint pictures of a French evening, of mystery, intrigue, discovery, seduction, love, and blissful night.'
Amia Venera Landscape is a sextet that combines emphatic post-hardcore sounds with ample instrumental suites. The band was born in 2007 and immediately succeeds in gaining space within the Italian alternative scene, coming to the stage with bands like Underoath, The Dillinger Escape Plan and August Burns Red. In 2008, they released their first EP, which received numerous promises from webzines and magazines, and which allowed them to play in various clubs and clubs throughout Italy. The following year they released two videos, Glances and Nichohlas, both of which were contained in the EP. In December 2010 they released their first full length 'The Long Procession'.
The Kinks are an English rock band formed in Muswell Hill, North London, in 1964 by brothers Ray and Dave Davies. They are regarded as one of the most influential rock bands of the 1960s.
