Dead & Company is a band consisting of former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir (guitar), Mickey Hart (drums), and Bill Kreutzmann (drums), along with John Mayer (guitar), Oteil Burbridge (bass/drums), and Jeff Chimenti (keyboards). The band continues the strong live tradition of the Grateful Dead, creating unforgettable experiences at their shows, no two performances being alike.To date, the band has released no studio recordings, but all of the concerts from their tours have been (or are being) released as albums.

The Sound of Animals Fighting is an American rock supergroup founded by Rich Balling of Rx Bandits. In the band's initial run, they released a trilogy of records between 2004 and 2008, and performed only four live shows, following their second release in 2006. The band's live lineup consisted of 12 different musicians. The band often employed the use of animal masks to conceal their identity. The group was inactive after 2009, with brief spurts of touring in 2014 and 2019, before announcing a new extended play and nationwide US tour in 2022. / Recorded live on the APESHIT tour, January 22nd, 2022 at the Franklin Music Hall in Philadelphia PA.

The Grateful Dead bid adieu to their faithful fans with a series of concerts in 2015 called Fare Thee Well. The shows, held in Santa Clara and Chicago, were billed as the last time the Dead alumni would share the stage together but, in typical Dead fashion, several members reconsidered that notion upon the project's conclusion. Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, and Mickey Hart harbored the desire to carry on, but Phil Lesh declined the opportunity to return to the road, leaving the trio with the task of replacing their bassist in addition to finding a substitute for Jerry Garcia (Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio filled that role for Fare Thee Well, but decided to return to his main gig). John Mayer – a newer convert to the Dead who struck up a friendship with Weir – was recruited to play guitar, bassist Oteil Burbridge was hired alongside keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, and this new incarnation of the Dead was dubbed Dead & Company. Following a Halloween unveiling in 2015, Dead & Company set out on the road in 2016. The tour went so well, the band headed back out on the road in the fall of 2017, followed by a summer tour in 2018.

Tuatara is one of the more surprising and slightly ridiculous supergroups in rock history. Comprised of Peter Buck (R.E.M.), Justin Harwood (Luna), Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees), and Skerik (Critters Buggin'), the quartet formed in 1996 to pursue music that their guitar-based alternative rock groups could not do – namely, worldbeat, lounge-pop, and free jazz.

Dead and Company wrapped up their second show of their Playing in the Sand 2019 destination festival down in Riviera Maya in Mexico last night. The group features original Grateful Dead members of Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann and once again they’re joined on stage with John Mayer, Jeff Chimenti and Oteil Burbridge for the 2019 shows and tours.

“T for Texas / Yes, and it’s T for Timbuktu” – When Dead & Company took to the stage at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, TX on December 2, 2017, no one thought that the band was about to play its final show of the year. After all, there were three more dates on the tour itinerary, in New Orleans and Florida. It wasn’t until a few days after the Austin show that unforeseen circumstances would force those scheduled gigs to be postponed until the following February.

Since then, the band has completed five tours, playing to more than 1.5 million fans, and has become a record-breaking stadium act. Dead & Company has headlined iconic stadiums across the country including Folsom Field, Autzen Stadium, Citi Field, Fenway Park and Dodger Stadium. Additionally, the band broke Wrigley Field's all-time concert attendance record in 2017. Dead & Company's 2018 Summer Tour ranked in the top 25 of the Top 100 Worldwide Tours and for the past two years, their Summer Tours ranked in the top 15 of the Top Global Concert Tours.
