There is nothing better than wishful thinking. Why is that so really? It only causes heart aches and unnecessary pain as it would never come to be. Even so, to entertain your mind on something, particularly with a zero chance of falling into place, is rather the source of hope. We are living in a crazy world and everything can happen. The running Hard Rockin’ foursome of ELECTRIC GUITARS thought that it would be nice to share one of their aspirations for their local scene in Denmark. That is highly considerate of them. Therefore, they decided to write about and call their newly released album based on their wish, “Rock N’ Roll Radio”, and on the the back of the local Mighty Music. You are probably thinking to yourself why Radio in 2017? From my end, I believe that it is the best point of entry, and you have to start from the basics.

Uppsala Stadshotell Brinner Igen. is the second album by Rävjunk, Scandinavia's best punk-psych band from Uppsala, Sweden. This second album includes tracks from rare singles and EPs released from 1979-1980, as well as completely unknown tracks picked by Peter Ericson (drums). Shadoks Music and Ericson were working on this album for weeks, and just before the album was done, Peter sadly passed away. This album is in memory of Peter Ericson, the great Swedish drummer and singer from Rävjunk. Uppsala Stadshotell Brinner Igen. is a great selection of songs influenced by the early pre-punk period ala Stooges/MC5, as well as the longer jamming guitar tracks of German kraut and space-rock bands. They also saw the heavy psych movement as a bright star…

Accordionist Richard Galliano did for European folk — specifically, the early 20th century French ballroom dance form known as musette — what his mentor Astor Piazzolla did for the Argentinian tango. Galliano reimagined and revitalized a musical tradition, expanding its emotional range to reflect modern sensibilities, opening it up to improvisation learned through American jazz. In fact, Galliano was more of a jazz musician than a folk one, although he blurred the lines so much that distinctions were often difficult to make.
