Soundgarden's major label debut, 1989's "Louder Than Love" hints at things to come with songs like "Loud Love", "Hands All Over" and "Get On The Snake". "Big Dumb Sex" was made famous thanks to a cover version on the 1993 Guns N' Roses album "The Spaghetti Incident?".

Screaming Life/Fopp is a 1990 compilation album by Seattle grunge rock band Soundgarden, consisting of two EP's they did for Sub Pop, Screaming Life and Fopp, the latter focusing on a cover version of an Ohio Players song. Both EP's were done before they released their album for SST and a year before they released their Louder Than Love album on A&M.

This remixed and expanded reissue of Soundgarden’s Ultramega OK is a long-planned “correction” of the legendary band’s Grammy®-nominated debut full-length. The album was originally recorded and released in 1988 on SST Records. While the band enjoyed working with the original producer, Drew Canulette, they soon realized they weren’t quite happy with the final mix. Thus, shortly after the album’s release, the band decided to remix the album for subsequent pressings.

A-Sides is a compilation album by the American rock band Soundgarden with songs spanning the band's thirteen-year career. AllMusic staff writer Stephen Thomas Erlewine gave the album four and a half out of five stars. He said, "For an act that was one of the definitive album artists of the late '80s and '90s, Soundgarden was a surprisingly effective singles band. Their singles effectively conveyed all of their best ideas, from their sludgy early Sub Pop recordings to the elaborate, post-metal psychedelia of their last two albums, Superunknown and Down on the Upside. That's the reason why the 17-track compilation A-Sides is such a successful overview of the band's too-brief career."

Following the 20th anniversary deluxe re-release of Superunknown earlier this year, Soundgarden’s latest release is a 3-CD rarities collection in a lavishly appointed box set and as a single CD. Echo Of Miles: Scattered Tracks Across The Path is the first time an official Soundgarden release has included more than 26 years of rarities that have appeared as B-sides, album bonus tracks, EPs, soundtracks, compilations and live recordings, a must for any fan of the band.
