The Best Smooth Jazz Ever is packed with smooth jazz radio hits and highlights the musicians who have brought depth and soul to the most successful contemporary jazz label in the world over the past 20 years. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of GRP Records, this two-CD set features some of the most respected names in the jazz style, including Al Jarreau, Lee Ritenour, Ramsey Lewis, and Patti Austin, as well a hot new rendition of Steve Winwood's "Roll With It," performed by David Benoit, Richard Elliot, and Jeff Golub under the group name Group 3.

The double CD was recorded during the 2024 Tour Of Waterfalls in Budapest, using 24-track analogue technology. Thanks to the excellent recording and the world-renowned sound engineering work of Tamás Barabás, once again an audiophile-quality master was created. The two CDs contain the complete concert material, mostly Djabe compositions, given a new impetus and sound by Chieli Minucci. The rest of the album features Chieli Minucci’s compositions, mostly Special EFX tracks.

A milestone in the discography of Larry Coryell. Remixed and remastered by sound engineer Winnie Leyh exclusively for the Deluxe Edition from the original tapes. Leyh has played a major role in the excellent sound of numerous IN+OUT releases.
