SLOWLY: Song for Keith Jarrett was recorded at the end of 2020, a watershed year for pianist Noah Haidu. As critical accolades streamed in for his innovative multi-media release DOCTONE, Haidu was on the verge of realizing another ambitious project: recording a trio album with one of the greatest bass and drum combinations in jazz: Billy Hart and Buster Williams, whose own remarkable collaboration began half a century ago. The project will be released via Sunnyside Records on May 7, 2021, one day before Jarrett’s 75th birthday.

Billy Joel is a New York icon who became one of the most successful singer/songwriters of the late 20th century. He first rose to success in the mid-'70s with a melodic piano-led pop sound that merged Beatlesque hooks with elements of rock, jazz, Tin Pan Alley, and even Broadway.

The Dave Weckl Acoustic Band represents the realization of a dream. In 2013, while touring with Mike Stern, Dave was reintroduced to playing with the amazing Makoto Ozone. Dave met Makoto in the '80s, and Makoto blew Dave away during this tour! Each night, Mike would give some space for Dave, Makoto, and Tom Kennedy to improvise a song. The guys would take this opportunity to really stretch out! The chemistry was amazing. This record is loaded with straight ahead jazz, a little funk, a little Latin, and more.

After 10 years of touring and breaking new ground with Bill Evans Soulgrass, Bill introduced the“Bill Evans Band” in the Fall of 2015 , a hard hitting montage of Jazz, Rock, instrumental and vocals. The “Bill Evans Band” is the next step for Bill. The evolution. Evans conducts the band and drives it with his saxophone as well as singing the lead vocals. With Dave Anderson on Bass and Bryan Baker on Guitar/Vocals, the “Bill Evans Band” is a seamless blend of Jazz, Rock and Groove.
