The latest soundtrack album from American composer Steve Jablonsky will be digitally released tomorrow by La-La Land Records, with a limited edition 2-CD set to follow on July 11th, 2017. The film is the latest installment in the 'Transformers' series, which Jablonsky has scored previous films for.

Steve Jablonsky (Transformers, The Island, Ender’s Game, Deepwater Horizon) is currently recording his score for the upcoming action thriller Skyscraper. The film is written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (We’re the Millers, Dodgeball) and stars Dwayne Johnson, Neve Campbell, Chin Han, Roland Møller, Pablo Schreiber, Byron Mann, Hannah Quinlivan and Noah Taylor. The movie follows a former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and war veteran who now assesses security for skyscrapers when he finds the tallest, safest building in the world in China suddenly ablaze. Johnson and Thurber are also producing the Legendary Pictures production with Beau Flynn (San Andreas, Hercules). Jablonsky is recording his music at Abbey Road Studios in London. Skyscraper is set to be released on July 13, 2018 by Universal Pictures.

Sony Classical will release a score album for the action adventure Bloodshot. The album features the film’s original music composed by Steve Jablonsky (Transformers, Ender’s Game, The Island, Lone Survivor, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, Deepwater Horizon). Bloodshot is directed by David S. F. Wilson and stars Vin Diesel, Eiza Gonzalez, Sam Heughan, Toby Kebbell and Guy Pearce. The movie is based on the bestselling comic book and follows Ray Garrison, a soldier recently killed in action and brought back to life as the superhero Bloodshot by the RST corporation. The film will be released in theaters nationwide on March 13 by Sony Pictures.

Best-known for his tense, rousing orchestral scores for the Transformers film series, Steve Jablonsky is an American composer of film, television, and video game music who studied computer science before switching to music composition at the University of California, Berkeley. Obtaining an internship at Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions after graduating, he met established film composer Harry Gregson-Williams, a colleague of Zimmer's, and worked as his assistant. After contributing to several projects including the BBC's 2003 series Seven Wonders of the Industrial World, his first solo scoring credit for a feature film was Marcus Nispel's remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, released in 2003. That was followed by 2004's Steamboy and, the same year, the beginning of a long-term stint with the full run of television's Desperate Housewives (2004-2012).

A follow up to Silva Screen’s Music From The Transformers Trilogy album from 2011. Firmly established as the soundtrack composer for the Transformers movie franchise, Steve Jablonsky delivers joyful fast-paced music, a mixture of orchestral and electronic sound, heavily laced with percussion. Starting in the 1980's with Hasbro’s Transformers line of toys and cartoons spanning a short few seasons on television before the animated 1986 film, the Transformers universe was given a new lease of life in 2007 with Michael Bay’s blockbuster movie. Bay has made the best choice for the franchise in bringing on board Steve Jablonsky, Hans Zimmer’s acolyte, to write the scores. Jablonsky cleverly abandoned the electronic music signature of the original 80’s TV Series in favour of a complex and well rounded, thematically connected score. Jablonsky brings the franchise up to date by featuring a daring mix of electronic sounds and traditional orchestral textures, and his score strikes a nice balance between the film's blustering sci-fi and its more earthly concerns.

Dario Marianelli has been tapped to score the upcoming Transformers spinoff Bumblebee. The film is directed by Travis Knight and stars Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Jason Drucker, Kenneth Choi, Rachel Crow, Pamela Adlon, Stephen Schneider, Ricardo Hoyos, Abby Quinn and Grace Dzienny. The movie is set in 1987 and follows a teenage girl trying to find her place in the world as she discovers Bumblebee refuged in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Christina Hodson (Unforgettable, Shut In) wrote the screenplay. Michael Bay who helmed all the previous Transformers movies (scored by Steve Jablonsky) is producing the project with Knight, Lorenzo di Bonaventura (RED, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra) and Stephen Davis (Ouija: Origin of Evil). Marianelli has previously collaborated with Knight on LAIKA’s 2016 feature Kubo and the Two Strings. Bumblebee is set to be released on December 21, 2018 by Paramount Pictures.
