American comic book artist Brandon Graham's comics were published by Tokyopop in 2007. Then in 2008 Tokyopop underwent radical restructuring which affected its American publications. In May 2009 Graham announced that would continue publication at Image Comics, and so the first issue of Graham's twelve-issue "catmaster magnum opus" was released by Image in oversized format on August 26, 2009, with the full title, . A lot of adjectives and modifiers have been used to describe : tongue-in-cheek-third-generation fight manga; stylish; ridiculous to the point of avant-garde; a work of genius; so weird it's good; far-out cool. A.E. Sparrow over at IGN described it as "a hell of a good story if you're looking for a very loose take on the cyberpunk genre, with enough action and humor to keep you thumbing through the pages until the end." And with the last and final issue #12 released last December 2, 2010, let's just say this is the comic book series for the serious comic book fan. All high-quality Minutemen scans by the one and only (and the best imho) DTs.

King Tubby - King Tubby Meets Scientist In A World Of Dub  Music

King Tubby - King Tubby Meets Scientist In A World Of Dub
MP3 @ 224-320(mostly 320) | 89 MB | Cover
Genre:Reggae / Dub

A favorite King Tubby compilations (although you could credit it to King Tubby or Scientist, who each mixed the tracks, or Jah Thomas, who produced the tracks, or even Roots Radics, who played the music on the tracks); it avoids the monotone, mundane sound that dub can sometimes mire its way into. Instead, it blasts into your eardrums with a dynamic drum and bass-saturated early '80s dancehall sound, often with echoes of DJ originators rumbling in the background. The best cut in my opinion is the ominous "King Tubby's Badness Dub," although classic rhythms abound, from "My Conversation" ("King Tubby's Conversation Dub") to "Shank I Shenk" ("Scientist Tribute to the Reggae King Dub") to "African Beat" ("Scientist Ganga Dub") to "Rougher Yet" ("King Tubby's Going Home in Dub") – the dubs generally being not of the original songs, but of DJ updates of the rhythms. Only in the last 3 or so tracks does this album falter, as a generic digital sound seeps in and taints an otherwise classic collection.

Freddie King - Just Pickin'  Music

Freddie King - Just Pickin'
1989 | Blues | MP3 320kbps | 169MB

Guitarist Freddie King rode to fame in the early '60s with a spate of catchy instrumentals which became instant bandstand fodder for fellow bluesmen and white rock bands alike. Employing a more down-home (thumb and finger picks) approach to the B.B. King single-string style of playing, King enjoyed success on a variety of different record labels. Furthermore, he was one of the first bluesmen to employ a racially integrated group on-stage behind him. Influenced by Eddie Taylor, Jimmy Rogers, and Robert Jr. Lockwood, King went on to influence the likes of Eric Clapton, Mick Taylor, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Lonnie Mack, among many others.

B.B. King - King Of The Blues (1992) [4CD Box Set]

No way can a mere four discs cover every facet of the blues king's amazing recording career, but MCA makes a valiant stab at it. The first two discs, as expected, are immaculate: opening with his Bullet Records debut ("Miss Martha King"), the box continues with a handful of pivotal RPM/Kent masters before digging into his 1960s ABC-Paramount material ("I'm Gonna Sit in 'til You Give In" and "My Baby's Comin' Home" are little-recalled gems). The hits – "The Thrill Is Gone," "Why I Sing the Blues," "To Know You Is to Love You" – are all here, and if much of the fourth disc is pretty disposable, it only mirrors King's own winding down in the studio.

2009 release that compiles two albums from the Blues great on one disc: King Albert (1977) and New Orleans Heat (1978). The king of modern electric soul-blues, Albert King joined Tomato Records in 1976 following his spell with the Stax label and this CD contains two of his very best releases from that era. The splendid King Albert marked an exciting return to form with a fine Motor City blues band that handles everything from B B King's big hit 'You Upset Me Baby' to Little Sonny Willis's exciting 'Love Shock' and a supremely soulful 'Good Time Charlie'. Released the following year, the very different Funk-tinged New Orleans Heat was overseen by legendary R&B producer Allen Toussaint at his Sea-Saint Studios. The cream of the Crescent City session musicians give the songs a real gumbo flavor
