An homage to the great jazz organ trios of the 60s and 70s. Part traditional, part jazz, part funk featuring master organist Dr. Lonnie Smith and vocalist Rene' Marie. This album is the best. It forces you to really listen to the music being created by the fantastic musicians playing together. There are songs on here for every mood as well, from the gorgeous and moving "Lullaby for Helene" to the modern sounding take on an old standard "Sort of Softly." Great music to listen to if you want to learn how to really play music from the heart. The album can be described with one word: Phenomenal.

Gap Band albums from 1986 and 1988, originally released on the Total Experience Records label. ‘Gap Band 8’ features the UK Top 5 hit single ‘Big Fun’, also a US Top 10 R&B chart hit. This BGO package includes bonus tracks. At the end of the 1990s, The Gap Band stopped recording and Charlie Wilson embarked on a solo career. Digitally remastered.

For me however, it was DJing. Before I became interested in production or beatmaking, or even directing other musical artists, turntables were my first true love. Hours spent practising, scratching and cutting my first two records together. Those two records are now two of many in my collection. A collection that holds an integral (and imposing) part of my life.

The Chansonnier Cordiforme is a songbook, probably copied in 1475 for a roguish but musically cultivated priest named Jean de Montchenu a contemporary chronicler called him 'dissolute and full of all the vices'. The beautiful manuscript containing 43 songs is, uniquely, heart-shaped and covered in velvet. This recording presents both a representative cross-section of the manuscript's repertoire, the majority of which is set to French texts and is among the best known and beautiful of the age, and a portfolio of differing performance options including instruments.
