2020 release from the AOR supergroup. Champlin Williams Friestedt consists of renowned Toto singer Joseph Williams, composer of film and drama scores and can also be heard in Disney's animated feature film The Lion King as the singing voice of adult Simba. Teaming up with none other than Bill Champlin formerly of the legendary band Chicago and critically acclaimed guitarist, producer and recording artist Peter Friestedt, the album II also includes contributions from vocalist, Michael McDonald, drummer John JR Robinson (Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones), Randy Goodrum (Toto, Chicago), Tamara Champlin and Polar price 2020 winner Diane Warren among many others.

Steve Lukather aka “Luke” and Joseph Williams will release individual solo albums on February 26, 2021 via The Players Club / Mascot Label Group. Both artists have made significant contributions to the other’s album. Joseph Williams fronted Toto as a lead vocalist from 1986 to 1988, and was featured on the albums Fahrenheit (1986) and The Seventh One (1988). He also appeared on the 2006 release Falling in Between, sharing lead vocals with Luke on “Bottom of Your Soul.” In 2010 he returned to the band, becoming front man and lead vocalist, a tenure that continues through today. Denizen Tenant features a dozen new recordings.

Toto members Steve Lukather and Joseph Williams release solo albums simultaneously. These band-mates and long-time collaborators both perform on one another’s recordings. Joseph Williams is the current singer of Toto and Denizen Tenant has that real Toto feel to it. The album Denizen Tenant features fellow Toto members David Paich and Steve Lukather and a cast of all-star musicians like Simon Phillips, Nathan East, Michael Landau, Jeff Babko, Lenny Castro and his daughter Hannah Ruick.

TOTO singer Joseph Williams teams up with former Chicago singer Bill Champlin and Swedish guitarist/producer Peter Friestedt for a new remarkable AOR release following the success with the Live In Concert DVD that made it all the way to the top on the Swedish Chart. In 2012 Champlin/Willams/Friestedt played a sold out Scandinavian tour and during this time the first recordings of the "CWF" album took place. The new album also includes contributions from Steve Porcaro of TOTO, Randy Goodrum (TOTO, Chicago), Will Champlin and Tamara Champlin.
