Containing the very best of pop, disco, punk, ska, new romantic, glam as well as the “slow dance” section just before the disco ends that we all remember so well… From the ultimate school days singalong of Madness’ “Baggy Trousers” through to the sitting down on the dancefloor rowing disco anthem of the Gap Band’s “Oops Upside Your Head as well as the girls on one side and boys on the other whilst dancing to the songs from “Grease”.

The cliché that circulated after the 2016 election foretold a new artistic golden age: Artists would transform their anger and anxiety into era-defining works of dissent in the face of authoritarianism. Yet Bob Mould calls his new album Sunshine Rock. It’s not because Mould -whose face belongs on the Mount Rushmore of alternative music—likes the current administration.

1967 - Sunshine Tomorrow is a compilation album from the legendary Beach Boys, focusing on previously unreleased material from the end of 1967. Collected from live recordings and sessions from the group's 13th studio album, Wild Honey, this rerelease features the original album's first complete stereo mix, alternate takes and highlights as well as the previously unreleased live concert recording Lei'd in Hawaii, allowing you to revisit these pioneers of surf rock in stunning hi-resolution sound.

This is one of "Detour Records" proudest moments….Not only was the Clique the biggest sellers on the 'Detour Records', BUT this is our 100th LP release on the label and what a release to celebrate this milestone and we have pushed the (Ropey old) boat out and made something very special as each box set comes with a set of five different postcards, poster and comes housed in a very stylish hand numbered box. 35 years after London modsters The Clique burst onto the music scene and 25 years after the final Clique EP was released, Detour Records and the band are proud to present a vinyl box set anthology of their music. The Clique were prolific throughout the late 80s and 90s, constantly gigging in London, up and down the UK and over in Europe. It wasn’t just their music that made them stand out from their contemporaries but also their impeccable and stylish dress sense. This box set collection includes many alternate recordings to previous releases and some unreleased tracks. Through the 3 albums you can track the musical progression of one of the 90s mod scene’s most distinctive bands; from their early obscure beat covers through to their own self written tracks, some of which have since been covered and released by other bands. Striding into the spotlight in 1980 with cult movie "Breaking Glass", award-winning singer-songwriter, Hazel O'Connor immediately became an iconic figure. Her latest album, "I Give You My Sunshine" is an emotional tour de force - her unique voice delivering with renewed passion and fire. The album is a introspective soulful dip into a stunning repertoire of the old, the new and everything in between. The moving title track `I Give You My Sunshine' about the sunshine in her own heart which was all and everything that Hazel could give to her hospice bound dying mother.

At long last, a CD full of the falsetto pop king’s wonderful Columbia recordings – including all the singles and 15 previously unreleased masters. Lou Christie’s four-octave range is one of the most exciting and readily identifiable sounds of 1960s pop. He scored international successes with ‘The Gypsy Cried’, ‘Two Faces Have I’ (both 1963), ‘Lightnin’ Strikes’, ‘Rhapsody In The Rain’ (both 1966) and ‘I’m Gonna Make You Mine’ (1969), before cutting one of his most enduring songs, ‘Beyond The Blue Horizon’, in 1973. He would go on to release duets with Pia Zadora and Lesley Gore, record the beloved eco-concept album “Paint America Love”, and even make one of the earliest rap records with 1981’s ‘Guardian Angels’.
