2022 collection. Tarja has chosen this moment to look back and compile her most well-known tracks and personal favorites for this first-ever collection, Best of Tarja: Living The Dream. It contains her personal favorite rock tracks from her six studio albums - My Winter Storm, What Lies Beneath, Colours in the Dark, The Brightest Void, The Shadow Self and In the Raw. This handpicked compilation contains the never-before-heard new single "Eye Of The Storm", as well as many hard-to-find rarities.

‘What Lies Beneath’ is the second rock studio album by Finnish solo artist Tarja. Originally released in 2010, it is considered a classic and must-have for both fans and critics and includes timeless Tarja hits like ‘Until My Last Breath’, ‘I Feel Immortal’ and ‘Falling Awake’. This year, the album will be re-issued for the first time as 2CD Special Edition and, for the first time, as Heavyweight 2LP Vinyl (Gatefold, 180g, black). Both formats feature a beautifully restored artwork, and all tracks are remastered at Sterling Sound for superb sound quality for the ultimate 2024 ‘What Lies Beneath’-experience. Symphonic metal queen Tarja Turunen returns with Act II, her third live album following up 2012’s Act I. With such an experienced artist it’s no surprise that things are well produced, and Act II delivers on all expectations. While the DVD package covers two concerts – an intimate concert ‘Metropolis Alive’ that was recorded shortly before the release of The Shadow Self (2016) and a concert recorded toward the end of 2016 in Milan, Italy. The CD package only covers the Milan concert, but with 20 tracks (including 2 medleys) there is no lack of good music.

After the successful release of “In The Raw” in August 2019, Tarja is now sharing a very special treat with her fans. “Extra Raw” contains seven very special versions of songs from the studio album and displays the versatility of Finnish singer Tarja.

Former NIGHTWISH singer Tarja Turunen and acclaimed drummer Mike Terrana (TARJA, AXEL RUDI PELL, RAGE, YNGWIE J. MALMSTEEN, MASTERPLAN) will release the classic-rock crossover live project "Beauty & The Beat" on May 30 via earMUSIC. The effort includes interpretations of classic music pieces ranging from Bach to Mozart to Rossini as well as rock classics from QUEEN, LED ZEPPELIN and Turunen. The music of "Beauty & The Beat" ranges from immortal classic pieces by Bach, Strauss and Mozart to Rossini, but doesn’t neglect pure rock music like songs from LED ZEPPELIN, QUEEN as well as Tarja's own pieces. All combined with orchestra and choir with more than 100 musicians on stage, an enormous sound, energetic drums and Tarja's angelic voice Tarja and Mike complement each other musically. Whereas Mike bangs his drums with rock attitude, Tarja shines with her crystal clear voice and incredible stage presence; all lulled with the warm, full sound of an orchestra.
