Teed

The debut album from Teed Up – recorded in September 2017 at Rimshot studios in Kent under the expert guidance of Mike Thorne and independently produced and released by Teed Up.

Metalwood 2 is more diverse, both sonically and compositionally, than the band's previous effort. Brad Turner introduces a wider palette of keyboard textures, particularly on the slamming "Spesh," the agitated "Newton," the stormy finale "Darren Vs. the Ants," and an atmospheric interlude called "Easter Island." On the funky, lighthearted "Who's Bob?" he links his Rhodes to an organ patch so that both sound simultaneously; on the more intense "DMD" he plays trumpet through effects and ends with a surprising trumpet/keyboard breakdown

Having teamed up with Parquet Courts bassist Sean Yeaton for Yellow Kitchen last month, Mark Kozelek has announced another collaborative LP, teaming up this time with Ben Boye and Jim White (Xylouris White, Dirty Three).
