Jazz Hits Of The 50s is a 2CD compilation of jazz from a singer's perspective, released on SACD in 2004. Released by Phantom Sound & Vision, this features some of the best jazz of the era and will be alive for many more decades to come.

Atlantic Jazz: Best Of The '50s is self-explanatory but I will explain. This is a Rhino compilation of music from Atlantic Records' jazz vaults, representing the 1950's. Primarily instrumental but featuring a small handful of vocal jazz, it is some of the best music the label had to offer. Rock & roll exploded in the '50s onto a cultural landscape that was so uptight and repressed as to be unrecognizable today, even to those who lived through it. Everything – from the clothes young people wore to the music they listened to to the money they spent – was a hard-fought statement, because no youth group before those '50s teenagers ever had that kind of freedom and did something with it.
