Just like its predecessor, Everything also produced a #5 hit ("In Your Room"), and a #1 single, "Eternal Flame," which became a chart-topper in almost every major chart around the world, among its released singles.

Formed in Los Angeles in 1981, The Bangles are an American band, who had several hit singles through out the 1980s. The bands hits included "Walk Like An Egyptian", "Hazy Shade Of Winter", and the 1989 No.1 single "Eternal Flame". The band officially broke-up in 1989 but almost ten years later, in 1998, started drifting back together . In 1999, they officially re-formed to record a song for the soundtrack of "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me". The reunion continued with a tour in 2000 and in 2003 they released, "Doll Revolution", their first album since 1988's "Everything".

The Bangles combined the chiming riffs and catchy melodies of British Invasion guitar pop with a hint of the energy of new wave. In the process, they became one of the handful of all-female bands of the '80s to win both critical and commercial success. The critical success came first with their self-titled debut EP and full-length album, All Over the Place and popular success arrived once they polished their sound, added some synthesizers, and deviated slightly from their trademark jangling guitar hooks. Once they were selling at the platinum level, The Bangles didn't stay together long, but they left several pop gems behind them.

The Bangles are an American pop rock band that formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1981. The band recorded several singles that reached the U.S. Top 10 during the 1980s, including "Manic Monday" (1986); "Walk Like an Egyptian" (1986); "A Hazy Shade of Winter" (1987); "In Your Room" (1989); and "Eternal Flame" (1989). The band's classic line-up consisted of founding members Susanna Hoffs (vocals and rhythm guitar), Debbi Peterson (drums and vocals), and Vicki Peterson (lead guitar and vocals), together with Michael Steele (bass and vocals).[3] As of June 2018, the band consisted of Hoffs, Debbi and Vicki Peterson, and bassist Annette Zilinskas.
