Where to place Yīn Yīn on the map ? Maybe somewhere between Netherlands and South-East Asia, on an imaginary tropical island. That’s where they brew a strange cocktail made of disco grooves, powerful “thaï beat” tunes and experimental tropisynths.

Ripple Music is thrilled to welcome Baltimore’s heavy psych rockers, The Flying Eyes, to it’s roster of the best of modern heavy psych, stoner, doom and heavy rock. The Flying Eyes name comes from a 1962 science fiction novel about giant, disembodied eyes that descend from outer space to control humanity… Since forming ten years ago, they have released four albums, several 7″ singles, and toured the world, supporting bands such as Dead Meadow, The Raveonettes, The Black Angels and Dan Auerbach among others. The Flying Eyes have achieved a notable following in Europe with extensive club touring and festival appearances.

The Z.E.N. Trio – pianist Zhang Zuo, violinist Esther Yoo and cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan – met as BBC New Generation Artists in 2015 and have since performed concerts together for BBC Radio as well as across the UK, Europe, China, Canada and United States, including a debut at the prestigious Aspen Music Festival in 2018. In the 2019/20 season, the trio performs in North America, in a six-city tour to San Francisco, Vancouver, Santa Barbara, Boston, Washington and Miami.

Kung Fu is an American martial arts action-adventure television series that premiered on The CW on April 7, 2021. Set in the present, it is an adaptation of the 1970s series of the same title. It is produced by Warner Bros. Television, as was the original series and Kung Fu: The Legend Continues. Executive producers include Christina M. Kim (developer of The CW series), Ed Spielman (creator of the original series), Greg Berlanti, Martin Gero, Robert Berens, and Sarah Schechter. It is one of a few American network dramas to feature a predominantly Asian-American cast, including veteran actor Tzi Ma. In May 2021, the series was renewed for a second season.

The Z.E.N. Their follow-up album will be recorded during this season for the same label.While the trio’s name, "Z.E.N." is an acronym for the three artists’ initials, it also represents the philosophy with which they approach chamber music making - the forgoing of the self for total togetherness.
