Author and Christian Apologist, Lee Strobel shares his story. After attending church once, he tried to disprove Christianity. After a 2 year investigative journey to find scientific evidence of the existence of God, he became a Christian.

The film opens with a group of actors arriving in the Holy Land in a bus and preparing for the filming of Jesus Christ Superstar during the overture. Ted Neeley (Jesus) is seen shortly before entering the circle wearing a green tie-dye shirt. He pauses to observe them taking the cross off of the bus. He is next seen walking with Yvonne Elliman (Mary Magdalene) who is carrying the white robe that Ted Neeley is about to put on. As the group encircles them, you see the green tie-dye shirt come off.

Set in Rome. AD 67. Two Jailers at the ancient Mamertine Prison take custody of a famous criminal. He is Simon Peter of Galilee-apostle, disciple, and the personal friend of Jesus (Bruce Marchiano), also called The Christ. Condemned to death, the elderly Peter (Robert Loggia) recounts his life as a simple fisherman who became one of the boldest figures in all of Christianity. As Peter prepares to depart this earthly life, he will make an unforgettable impression on his jailers through the saving power of the Gospel.

Dr. Sharon Golban (Williams) finds an ancient skeleton in Jerusalem in a rich man's tomb. Coloration of the wrist and leg bones indicates the cause of death was crucifixion. Other signs, include a gold coin bearing the marks of Pontius Pilate and faint markings around the skull, lead authorities to suspect that these could be the bones of Christ. The different reactions of politicians, clerics, religious extremists—some prepared to use terror to gain their ends—to the religious, cultural and political implications of the find, make life difficult and dangerous for the investigators as they seek to unearth the truth. Father Matt Gutierrez, is assigned by the Vatican to investigate the case and to protect the Christian faith. Troubled by his case, he comes to understand that it is the Church that he is protecting and not the faith.

Krzysztof Kieslowski's Decalogue explores the timeless moral issues of human existence through ten contemporary tales, each based on one of the Ten Commandments. Originally produced for Polish television, this brilliant series of ten separate but subtly intertwining films transcended the boundaries of film and TV, winning honors in both arenas as it played around the world. The Decalogue won the FIPRESCI Award at the 1989 Venice Film Festival, was honored as Best Foreign Television Program by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and was named Best Foreign Language Film by the Chicago Film Critics Association in 1997. Each episode was co-written by Kieslowski's longtime collaborator Krzysztof Piesiewicz and features music by Zbigniew Preisner.
