Death arrives in this darkly humorous and brilliantly illustrated tale created by Nicholas Gurewitch, author of The Perry Bible Fellowship Almanack! Death becomes a patient of a recently-bereaved psychoanalyst. The topic of discussion? His frolicsome child, who has no apparent interest in grim-reaping! Featuring an unfathomable number of lines which have been hand-chiseled into inked clay, this labor of love by Nicholas Gurewitch invokes the morbid humor of his comic strip (The Perry Bible Fellowship) and the spooky silent-film qualities of the late Edward.

A 12-issue limited series published by Marvel from March 2004 through January 2005 written by Akira Yoshida and illustrated by Greg Tocchini. It was originally solicited as a 6-issue limited series but popular reception and demand caused its extension to 12 issues. It chronicles the early adventures of Thor in Asgard as a teenager along with Balder and Sif and because of this and because of the decision to drop the Old English dialogue and make the language modern and colloquial, it resonated with the public and picked up a lot of new and young fans. The series was collected and published as trade paperbacks comprising the three storylines: "The Warriors Teen" (); "Enchanted" (; and "Worthy" (). It helped cement the revitalization of the character of Thor that was jump-started by Garth Ennis and Glen Fabry in the five-issue limited series (2003), transforming him from the old-school cold and aloof Avenger of Jack Kirby to the volatile and hard-edged God of Thunder of today.
