The single peaked at #33 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was the band's highest entry on the U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart at #3 (tying with "Summer of Love" from 1986). The song was also the band's second highest charting single in the United Kingdom (the highest being "Love Shack" at #2), also peaking at #3.

A VHS version of the film was released January 14, 1997 by Turner Home Video. Many attribute this movie's inspiration to the success of the remake of Father of the Bride. The telefilm had a relatively high level of animation quality.
In this film, Pebbles and Bamm Bamm, who are adults now, decide to get married, but the problem is: Fred has lost money when he bet his nest egg on his team, the Brontos. Fred tries to get more money from Mr. Slate, but he loses his job. Fred enlists Barney's help in bringing more money for the wedding, but they fail, losing Barney's money in the process. Meanwhile, Wilma's mother Pearl Slaghoople arrives to help with the wedding.
