Beyond the Great Wall is a true story based on how Wang Chao-chun sacrificed her love and life for the good of the Chinese people during war time fears between China and the Huns. The iconic Linda Lin Dai gives a soul stirring performance as Wang, who is tricked into marrying the Hun leader. War averted, the truth is revealed too late, she kills herself. Life imitates art when sadly Linda committed suicide a few years later.

To do so, the Nazis erected an incredible string of fortifications that came to be known as the Atlantic Wall.
