Genre: Heavy Metal, Hard Rock | RAR 3% Rec. | Label: SPV/Steamhammer (SPV 249150 CD)

No doubt about it: The world would be a much poorer place without Axel Rudi Pell. On his 22nd (!) studio album ‘Risen Symbol’, the Bochum-based guitarist and songwriter continues to fly the melodic hard rock flag without watering down his style with pseudo-modern stylistic variations or expendable studio gimmicks. At the same time, he is constantly looking for new influences, exciting inspirations and catchy hooks. One of the best things about ARP’s anthems is that they are perfectly tailored to the charismatic voice of frontman Johnny Gioeli. The American vocalist is one of the most eminent rock singers worldwide and, together with Pell, former Rainbow drummer Bobby Rondinelli, and the two longstanding ARP members Ferdy Doernberg (keyboards) and Volker Krawczak (bass), has been an integral part of a perfectly oiled machine for more than ten years, wowing fans and media alike.

EAC Rip | FLAC (image+.cue+log) - 309 MB | MP3 CBR 320 kbps (LAME 3.93) - 101 MB | Covers - 40 MB
Genre: Stoner/Doom Metal | RAR 3% Rec. | Label: Svart Records (SVART285CD)

In four short years of existence, Green Lung have risen from the murk of the UK heavy underground to become a true cult band with a devoted following. Debut album Woodland Rites, released independently in early 2019, quickly garnered attention, resulting in a single being named ‘Track of the Week’ in the Guardian, plays on Daniel P. Carter’s Radio One Rock Show, a tour with fellow UK heavies Puppy and festival appearances across Europe.
This brought the band to the attention of the wider music industry, and after multiple offers from a variety of labels, the band decided to stay true to their roots and sign with the Finnish audio wizards at Svart Records, home to several of their doomy inspirations including Reverend Bizarre and Warning. Svart’s deluxe reissue of the album, and the preceding EP Free the Witch, sold out several pressings…

Joan Baez - Ring Them Bells (Collector's Edition) (2009)
FLAC (tracks), Lossless / MP3 320 kbps | 1:27:29 | 503 / 200 Mb
Genre: Folk Rock

As annotator Arthur Levy points out in his newly written liner notes to this expanded version of Joan Baez's live album Ring Them Bells, things have changed since it was first released in September 1995. Guardian Records, the imprint of Capitol/EMI that released it, no longer exists. (Rights appear to have reverted to Baez, who licensed it to the British label Proper for this reissue.) The Bottom Line, the 400-seat nightclub in Greenwich Village where it was recorded, is gone, too. And worst of all, Baez's sister Mimi Fariña, who made her final recorded appearance on the album singing a duet on her late husband Richard Fariña's "Swallow Song," died in 2001. But the collection, boasting six extra tracks and stretched over two discs with a running time now exceeding 87 minutes, remains a good précis of Baez's career over its first three-and-a-half decades, as rendered by the 54-year-old singer and a group of female guest stars representing the generations of women singer/songwriters influenced by folk music's premier interpreter. In a sense, the influences can be seen as flowing both ways, since Baez sings songs written by her guests, some of which have been part of her repertoire for years – Janis Ian's "Jesse,"
