Recorded live At Boulder Theater - October 4, 2024 - Colorado. This concert is an opening of a portal. It was inspired by cosmic metal band Blood Incantation's invitation to cross the bridge of genre limitations and unleash our sonic passions together on the same stage for the premiere of their stunning "Absolute Elsewhere” album; it was an opportunity to present my live music to a new audience. The set was built from the elements of my 2024 US tour that presents the full range of my music over 2 hours. Mystical deep ambient - atmospheric to multilayered sequencer woven trance merging to tribal and acoustic infused Dreamtime realms. In this setting I took this 2 hour trajectory I have been performing in large Cathedrals and Churches and compressed this into a 60 min hyperblending of constant shapeshifting.

Distance Inbetween is The Coral’s first album of original material since 2010’s Butterfly House, a gap punctuated by last year’s surprise release of their lost album, The Curse of Love. Since their debut EP release in 2001 the band have sold over a million UK albums, with five reaching the Top 10 including 2003’s chart-topping Magic and Medicine. Their eight Top 40 singles include Dreaming Of You, In The Morning, Pass It On, and Don’t Think You’re The First.

After recording one of their darkest albums, 1983's The Top, the Cure regrouped and shuffled their lineup in 1984 and ended up changing their musical direction rather radically. While the band always had a pop element in their sound and even recorded one of the lightest songs of the '80s, "The Lovecats," The Head on the Door is where they become a hitmaking machine. The shiny, sleek production and laser-sharp melodies of "Inbetween Days" and "Close to Me" helped them become modern rock radio staples and the inspired videos had them in heavy rotation on MTV.

Annabel Mehran's black-and-white cover photo for Steve Gunn's The Unseen Inbetween is a portrait of the guitarist and songwriter seemingly on the move. It evokes those found on early- to mid-'60s recordings by Bob Dylan, Koerner, Ray & Glover, Jackson C. Frank, Bert Jansch, and others. Gunn has shifted his focus considerably. Rather than simply showcase his dazzling guitar playing, he delivers carefully crafted, uncharacteristically tight and well-written songs with guitars, keyboards, strings, reeds – and percussion – translating them without artifice or instrumental disguise. Gunn's also a more confident, capable singer than he was on 2016's Eyes on the Lines and it shows.

Featuring 60 of the best known anthemic hits from the ’90’s and ’00’s, ’The Best Indie Album In The World…Ever!’ brings together the most incredible and genre challenging music on one collection.‘Indie’ was a broad title, and whilst recognising that the music wasn’t produced to be mainstream pop, during the ’90’s ‘Brit-Pop’ became a cultural movement with music and fashion colliding as they had in the ’60’s to re-invigorate the charts and radio.

The Cure were never afraid of artistically defining themselves. They had their own sound, an eerie glamour surrounding a dark whimsicality, yet fans flocked to them throughout the '80s and '90s. Commercial or cult favorites, they're impressive as being one of the '80s' seminal bands who culled more than 30 critical singles. Compilations like 1986's Staring at the Sea: The Singles and 1997's Galore showcased the Cure's accessibility; therefore, having a solid greatest-hits collection might be a bit nonessential. Then again, releasing an album like this at the tip of the new millennium calls for a celebration, and that's what the Cure did. They collected 16 amazing cuts which spanned 23 years and recall what once was…
