The Lord of The Rings The Rings of Power

War of the Wizards was the sixth album by the German heavy metal band Stormwitch, released in 1992. The album is a concept album with strong references to The Lord of the Rings, however, due to copyright reasons, character's names have been changed. For example, Aragorn has become "Aaron" and Arwen has become "Arleen".

The most strong-voiced band of the world releases their fifth album "Dawn of the Brave" and elevates their unique A Cappella Metal to the next level. Only supported by a drummer, the German sextet offers the perfect blend of sweeping original songs and cover versions of legendary Rock classics such as "Paranoid" (BLACK SABBATH) or "The Final Countdown" (EUROPE). As a special bonus, more than 200 VAN CANTO fans took part in the choir recordings, and can hear themselves on the new album. Charlie Bauerfeind (BLIND GUARDIN, HELLOWEEN, etc.) produced the drum recordings. The album was mixed by sound wizard Ronald Prent (MANOWAR, RAMMSTEIN, etc.) at the legendary Wisseloord Studio 2. He gave the A Cappella sound and outstanding and omnipresent dynamic.

This Set include material recorded from various shows during the European tour leg in 2015, among old classics, new tracks as well as songs that are played very rarely during live shows. Vocalist Hansi Kürsch speaks about the difficulties to create such an ambitious album: “In general I would say that we’ve had a really good run on this tour and that nearly every show was perfect. But, at the end of the day, after every band member has checked each and every song and concert of those 30 shows again and again, there were only like two or three versions of each song being suitable to be used for an album. We then had to decide between those last remaining versions, which would have been the most impressive one. This was a nearly endless task!

Tales from the Twilight World is the third studio album by Blind Guardian, released in 1990 by Blind Guardian. The cover artwork was created by Andreas Marschall, who has drawn the artwork for some of Blind Guardian's other releases (Somewhere Far Beyond, Nightfall in Middle-Earth, etc.). It was remastered and re-released on 15 June 2007, with bonus tracks.
