This album marks the beginning of an innovative journey for the Hallé under its newly appointed Principal Conductor and Artistic Advisor, Kahchun Wong. Internationally acclaimed for his dynamic stage presence and his thoughtful exploration of Eastern and Western artistic legacies, Singaporean-born Kahchun Wong assumes his new role with the Hallé in September 2024, following his electrifying debut with the orchestra last season.

I am deeply honored to have been asked for my advice as you assume the awesome burdens of your new office. I can offer several rules of thumb, which I believe time and experience has proven sound. Act boldly in the beginning. The public has a short attention span and it will make them forget the accomplishments of your predecessor and impress them with your vigor. Make your first priority the protection of your power. Without it you are useless. Appear steadfast but be flexible. Remember, some of God’s greatest gifts are broken campaign promises.

The prince - Chris Geere does a great job as always, and the sidekick - John Firth is really hilarious. The princess - Kam Heskin is looking hot as ever, but the new character Rayen - Selina Lo is so hot that she steals the show I am officially now a fan of Rayen and will sit thru the next version just to see her kick some more ass.
