Colter Wall is an up-and-coming lonesome country music baritone whose impressive songwriting career is featured here on his debut, self-titled release. Wall’s authentic and personal crooning, coupled with his personal lyric writing, has made him a Nashville darling and personal favourite of famed record producer Dave Cobb.

The story of the legendary Hansa studios in Berlin, which used to overlook the Wall and has hosted many well-known acts including David Bowie, Iggy Pop, U2 and Brian Eno.

The most successful folk-rock duo of the 1960s, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel crafted a series of memorable hit albums and singles featuring their choirboy harmonies, ringing acoustic and electric guitars, and Simon's acute, finely wrought songwriting. The pair always inhabited the more polished end of the folk-rock spectrum and was sometimes criticized for a certain collegiate sterility. Many also feel that Simon, as both a singer and songwriter, didn't truly blossom until he began his own hugely successful solo career in the 1970s. But the best of S&G's work can stand among Simon's best material, and the duo did progress musically over the course of their five albums, moving from basic folk-rock productions into Latin rhythms and gospel-influenced arrangements that foreshadowed Simon's eclecticism on his solo albums. Simon & Garfunkel's recording history actually predated their first mid-'60s hit by almost a decade.

A timely insight into life on the U.S. Mexican border as Donald Trump attempts to deliver his most controversial campaign pledge: to build a wall. When running for presidency, Trump pledged to 'build a big, beautiful wall between the U.S. and Mexico.' As crowds of supporters chanted his rhetoric, Trump reasoned: 'When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They are sending people that have lots of problems.

Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb, this newest offering by Colter Wall was recorded at Nashville's historic RCA Studio A. Wall's sound is comprised of resonate and raw baritone vocals, folk and bluegrass style guitar and banjo picking, steady kick-drum stomping, and visually provoking, story telling lyrics.
