Stories have been told throughout history since the time of cavemen. Over the centuries, this has evolved into modern cinema, television and even video games but some of the most well-known fables and fairy tales have endured and are still told today. Myths & Monsters is an interesting, 6 part documentary that chronicles the origin to some of the best-known stories in Western culture in an interesting and engaging way. Although a lack of Eastern-influenced fables is a little disappointing, this documentary does a good job of piquing interest in the various stories depicted whilst never diving deeply enough to make it an exhausting watch.

WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the CW superhero drama Naomi. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Amanda Jones (Somebody Somewhere, Twenties, Good Trouble, Cherish the Day, Adventure Time: Distant Lands). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, May 6. The streaming/download link will be added to this article within the next day. Naomi is developed by Ava DuVernay & Jill Blankenship based on DC Entertainment’s comic book series of the same name by Brian Michael Bendis & David F. Walker and stars Kaci Walfall, Cranston Johnson, Mary-Charles Jones, Camila Moreno, Will Meyers, Barry Watson, Aidan Gemme, Mouzam Makkar and Alexander Wraith.
