"Drunk" is the third studio album by American Alternative R&B musician Thundercat. This album is an epic journey into the often hilarious, sometimes dark mind of the Grammy-winning singer/bassist - featuring a few of his friends joining him along the way including: Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Wiz Khalifa, Kamasi Washington and Brainfeeder mastermind Flying Lotus.

The latest album titled Drunk is released on Flying Lotus Brainfeeder label and features production from Flying Lotus himself. After attaining national attention following his Grammy award winning collaborations on Kendrick Lamar s To Pimp A Butterfly , Bruner delivers arguably his most ambitious work to date. Vocal features include Michael McDonald & Kenny Loggins, Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa and Pharrell. In addition to Kendrick Lamar, Thundercat has worked with a wide range of artists including Erykah Badu, Childish Gambino, Mac Miller, Ty Dolla $ign, Bilal, Suicidal Tendencies, Kamasi Washington, Terrace Martin and more making him one of the most in demand musicians of our time.

Brainfeeder presents a special "chopped not slopped” mix of Thundercat’s incredible album “Drunk” (2017) by DJ Candlestick and OG Ron C of legendary Houston DJ collective The Chopstars. Slowed down and chopped up, the mix has been fittingly re-titled “Drank”. It appeared online last year as an unofficial homage to the virtuoso bassist, songwriter and producer’s third and universally acclaimed album and received hearty approval from Thundercat, who proclaimed: “If you got ‘Drunk’ it’s only right that you get ‘Drank’. I feel like they go together.” - inciting Brainfeeder to make a vinyl format appropriately doused in purple.

While guitarist Zane Carney's work as a leader may have yet to experience the hype it arguably deserves, his session work is another thing. Among other projects, he has played on Thundercat's Drunk (Brainfeeder, 2012) as well as John Mayer's folk album Paradise Valley (Columbia, 2013), the Grammy award-winning Thundercat calling him "a massive guitarist." And, in the continued spirit of name-dropping, Carney formed the band Evan + Zane with actress (and incidentally good singer) Evan Rachel Wood, who might be best known for her role in the sci-fi series Westworld. On Alter Ego, however, the spotlight is on him. East coast-born but West Coastian by choice, the multifaceted guitarist's vision for jazz is unbound to genre or temperament, and lives out of the most-likely-sunny moment.

Genius Ronald Bruner, Jr. has enlisted a bunch of geniuses like George Duke, Thundercat, Mac Miller, Kamasi Washington, Danielle Withers etc. for his debute solo album, which will probably be pretty jazzy and R&B. There are quite a few famous families in the music business: the Jacksons, the Braxtons, the Debarges, the Isleys and the Leverts to name some off top of the dome. The Grammy Award winning family of musicians consist of keyboardist Jameel Bruner, formerly of The Internet; Stephen Bruner, a celebrated bassist whose recent project Drunk reunites him with To Pimp a Butterfly star Kendrick Lamar and father, Ronald Bruner Sr., a drummer who has worked with Diana Ross, The Temptations and Gladys Knight.
