Looking to do something special for fans on the final leg of the Working On A Dream tour, Springsteen elects to revisit full classic albums in-sequence. Philadelphia October 14, 2009 showcases Darkness On The Edge Of Town and includes standout performances of "Something In The Night," "Streets Of Fire" and "Prove It All Night." Beyond Darkness, the 26-song set opens on a high note with vintage barnstormer "Thundercrack," and features the only live version to date of Working On A Dream gem "What Love Can Do," plus "Sherry Darling," "Human Touch," "Long Walk Home" and a special "Gonna Fly Now" trumpet solo intro to "Rosalita.

Tracks is a four-disc box set by Bruce Springsteen, released in 1998 containing 66 songs. This box set mostly consists of never-before-released songs recorded during the sessions for his many albums, but also includes a number of single B-sides, as well as demos and alternate versions of already-released material.

Taking their Wrecking Ball tour indoors to christen the newly opened First Direct Arena, Springsteen and the E Street Band deliver an exceptional, surprise-laden show in front of an ecstatic Leeds audience. The show-opening “Roulette” is but the first of several special additions, including “Something in the Night,” “Thundercrack” “This Depression” and “American Skin (41 Shots),” plus the tour debuts of “Local Hero,” “Gotta Get That Feeling,” “Secret Garden” and CCR’s “Bad Moon Rising.”

Bruce brings the Devils & Dust solo tour to an unforgettable conclusion with a set list that pulls out all the stops for the final show in Trenton. From an instrumental cover of the late Link Wray’s “Rumble” to start, through rare solo outings of “Empty Sky,” “Fire,” “Drive All Night,” “All That Heaven Will Allow,” “Thundercrack” and “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town,” Trenton 2005 teems with surprises, none more so than “Zero and Blind Terry” on piano (not performed since 1974) and the pre-Greetings original “Song for Orphans,” released here for the first time.

Bruce Springsteen once said he intended to make an album with words like Bob Dylan that sounded like Phil Spector with vocals like Roy Orbison's, a nifty summary of many, but not all, of his artistic ambitions and a key to his appeal. Unlike any other singer/songwriters saddled with the appellation of "the new Dylan" in the early '70s, Springsteen never hid how he was raised on '60s AM radio. He loved rock & roll, whether it was the initial blast from the '50s or the mini-symphonies from the days before the Beatles or the garage rockers that surfaced in the wake of the British Invasion, and all this could be heard within his wild, wooly collective E Street Band, a group who debuted on his second album, 1973's The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle, and who would support him throughout most of his career.
