"Archipel" is a set of pieces for piano composed by Tom Bourgeois and interpreted by Léna Kollmeier. After their first collaboration, the two musicians continue their research around the solo repertoire. If the previous set "September" focused on short forms, here the subject is more stretched, more dense. "Archipelago” is a name given to a few pieces of this new opus, made of small interconnected stories; like islands, each with its own story but always linked to the others.

The saxophone, the guitar, the accordion and the singing design a poetic, idyllic atmosphere. In alliance or alone, they oat smoothly, resembling the movement of the human soul. On the way for looking themselves, they improvise, and finally they encounter utterly during the moments of sharing.
