Tra i boschi di Peterborough, nella contea del Cambridgeshire, vengono rinvenuti i resti di uno scheletro. L'ispettore James Bliss e l'agente Penny Chandler investigano sul caso e scoprono che la vittima, una giovane donna, è stata spostata dal luogo di sepoltura originale.
