A trio with the special lineup of saxophone, cimbalom, and double bass plays sophisticated compositions by brilliant musicians! Consisting of established musicians of the Hungarian improvised jazz scene, the Viktor Tóth Arura Trio immediately fascinated its audience with their very first performance in 2013, enchanting with their sheer power, virtuosity, organic harmony, and Tóth s concentrated compositions.

Toth is a new project of Brooklyn multi-instrumentalist songwriter Alex Toth, known for collaborating and writing with Kimbra, Alexander F, Rubblebucket, Cuddle Magic and others. As Toth, he presents his most vulnerable songs and performances yet, often sung in a style reminiscent of Arthur Russell, while also adding trumpet and guitar.

The Toth family resides in Northern Hungary. The couple has a daughter and a son, the latter a member of the armed forces. When his weary major is ordered to take a vacation, the son talks him into a visit to his family home. Comedy endues when the Toth's go overboard trying to make things pleasant for the visiting major in hopes of an easier life for their son the soldier.
