Woe betide the psychedelic groover who picked up the third album by Status Quo, dreaming of further picturesque matchstick messages! A mere three hits in a long three years had completely exhausted the bandmembers' patience with the whimsy of yore, and their ears had long since turned in other directions. It was the age, after all, of Canned Heat's relentless boogie and Black Sabbath's blistered blues, and when the Quo's first new single of 1970, the lazy throb of "Down the Dustpipe," proved that the record-buying public wasn't averse to a bit more down-home rocking, their future course was set…

A gorgeous Hammond organ sound underpins the two albums Andwella released on Reflection. The first of these was ‘Worlds End’, released in 1970, which is the better of the two. Though it is less psychedelic and less adventurous than their debut and doesn’t revisit the same heights, it is more consistent, more measured and contains several outstanding songs.

Shark Move was established in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia in 1970. Some songs in the album were written using English lyrics while at that time most of Indonesian played sweet music and Indonesian lyrics. It was considered as "experimental" in the way the album was made. Right after the release of this album in 1970, the band performed frequent gigs in Indonesian big cities like Bandung, Jakarta (capital city), Palembang, and others…

Duke Ellington's collaboration with Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnatti Symphony Orchestra gives one an opportunity to hear Ellington's "The Golden Broom & the Green Apple" and "New World A'Coming" in rare performances along with a symphonic version of "Harlem." Ellington, who is featured throughout on piano, adds verbal "poetic commentary" between sections and the arrangements (which may have been by Luther Henderson) are fine but one misses his illustrious orchestra.
