Trans Like me

This is really a superb album, with some really great compositions from Wells (some co-worked with Drake) where you get nods and hints to, let me name a few: Asia, Camel & Magnum. The guitar mastery of Tony Drake are all over the place, with some very delicious Latimer/Gilmoresque like lead's!! The compositions are light and airy, as opposed to bombast and massive, giving the musicians time to let feel and imaginative sequences shine!

Trans-Millenia Consort is the near mythical debut album by the late West Coast composer, healer, and medium Pauline Anna Strom. First released in 1982, the album is a bold and beautiful evocation of a life that exists between and beyond time. This book explores the contours of a transformational sociology which seeks to reconsider the horizons of sociological imagination. It questions accepted modernist assumptions such as the equation of society and nation-state, the dualism of individual and society and that of ontology and epistemology. Arguing that contemporary sociology suffers from what Ulrich Beck calls the Nato-like fire power of western sociology, it argues that sociology has to open itself to transcivilizational dialogues and planetary conversations about self, culture and society.
