Trees Of Eternity (1994-2000) is the new 7 remastered Discs, 72-page Hardback Book containing 6 studio albums and the never-before-released Live at Fillmore, 1998. Beginning with Arborescence, which hit number 18 in the UK albums chart, we set off on a journey through the Ozrics' impressive catalogue. The band had gone through some line up changes during this period, leading to an exciting new chapter in their story. Become the Other, Curious Corn, Spice Doubt, Waterfall Cities and The Hidden Step showcase the band at their most inventive, with new ideas aplenty, all found here remastered by band leader Ed Wynne. However, the true standout of the set is the inclusion of the legendary Fillmore, San Francisco show of 1998, also mastered by Ed Wynne and remixed specially for this set…

Although a brand-new name, Hallatar features among its ranks Swallow the Sun and Trees of Eternity guitarist Juha Raivio, Amorphis vocalist Tomi Joutsen, and former HIM drummer Gas Lipstick. In fact, one could see Hallatar as an extension of Trees of Eternity, whose massively acclaimed debut for Svart, Trees of Eternity, served as the swansong of vocalist Aleah Starbridge.

Vitamin Enhanced is a 6-disc box set by English psychedelic rock band Ozric Tentacles. It compiles the band's six first recordings, originally released in the 1980s. The first six albums were originally released on cassette, handmade by the band, and only sold at festivals and concerts. In 1993, the albums were transferred to CD, and the compiling box set was first released in November 1994 through the band's independent record label, Dovetail Records. The original pressing was limited to 5,000 copies.

Svart Records is proud to release the new posthumous solo album by Aleah Liane Stanbridge, better known as Aleah Starbridge, singer of the Swedish/Finnish band Trees of Eternity. Aleah passed away in 2016 after a brave fight with cancer. She was just 39 years old when she left this mortal coil, but Aleah’s eternal spirit lives on through her beautiful music, realised in her solo album brought to fruition by her life partner and Swallow The Sun/Trees of Eternity guitarist, Juha Raivio.

Some albums are born from necessity rather than desire. When a Shadow Is Forced Into the Light is one. After Swallow the Sun issued their triple-length magnum opus Songs from the North I, II & III in 2015, tragedy struck. Guitarist/composer Juha Raivio lost his life partner, the poet and vocalist Aleah Stanbridge, to cancer at the end of 2016. She and Raivio had formed the band Trees of Eternity but she passed before their debut was completed. He finished and released the album then went into seclusion. Upon returning, he formed the band Hallatar, composing songs from lyrics in her journals. They released No Stars Upon the Bridge in 2017. But Raivio also channeled his grief into this extended reflection on loss, sadness, heartbreak, and transformation for STS; he penned its nine songs in three weeks…

Lead guitarist Esa Holopainen and drummer Jan Rechberger formed the band Amorphis in Finland in 1990. To complete their lineup they recruited vocalist/guitarist Tomi Koivusaari and bassist Olli-Pekka Laine. They released a demo in 1991 called Disment of Soul. The demo was so successful in getting attention for the group that they acquired a record deal and released an EP the same year.
