An American drag queen, actor, and singer who broke big as a contestant on the seventh season of RuPaul's Drag Race, Trixie Mattel (born Brian Michael Firkus), is also known for her popular web series UNHhhh with fellow RuPaul alum Katya Zamolodchikova. A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Firkus began doing drag at the age of 19 and made her first public appearance in a stage performance of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. After placing sixth on the 2015 season of RuPaul's Drag Race, she moved to Los Angeles and began working on her web series, performing standup comedy, and acting (Mattel appeared as herself on an episode of American Horror Story: Roanoke). In 2017, Mattel released the EP Two Birds, a well-received country-pop album that made a splash both at home and abroad.

Trixie Stapelton 291: Se Taire Pour Une Femme Trop Belle is an album that was originally meant for release by Fille Qui Mousse in 1972 but never materialized, partly because the group couldn't get their shit together. This pressing was released in 1998 by Spalax Music.

Trixie Whitley rang in the new year by announcing the release of her eagerly awaited album 'Lacuna'. The forthcoming record was created in conjunction with Run The Jewels producer Little Shalimar and is set for release on March 29, 2019. 'Lacuna' was entirely written and recorded in Brooklyn, NY where Trixie resides.
