In Kaliningrad two Lithuanian boys meet two Russian girls. They have difficulties in finding places where they can sleep together. But this is the only problem they do solve. All four justly feel miserable because their lives are meaningless (the recurrent dull and poorly kept house façades could well be taken as a comparative symbol). In addition, everyone is so absorbed by his or her own distress and hardly capable of bothering about the anguish of the others. The three days end with a pervasive lack of contact. This is the film debut of Katerina Golubeva ("Pola X", "29 Palms"). Sharunas Bartas never gives too much weight to storytelling, so, don't worry, if you can't find English subs, it's not about words, it's about the haunting atmosphere, mood and landscape. Art-house all over again, yes ;)

Nomi Malone, a mysterious young girl with the ambition to dance embarks on a journey to Las Vegas to become a showgirl in a high-class hotel show. There she meets Molly, a seamstress at the Stardust Hotel and the two quickly become good friends. She gets a job as a lap dancer at the seedy Cheetah Club but after a chance meeting with Cristal Connors, the star of Goddess, the current show at the hotel where Molly works, Nomi manages to secure an audition for a spot on the chorus line.However she soon realises that fame comes with a price as her friendships, her morals and her soul are put to the test as she works her way up the ladder and eventually becomes the star of the show, stealing Cristal's part. She begins to wonder if all of her work was for nothing and if she can reclaim her life back before it is too late.

But as this New Yorker pulls this daring robbery with the help of his friends, it looks like leaving the bank with all the stolen money is the easy part! All they have to do now is make it out of the city and to the airport. They have plenty of time, but its not that easy as they seem to get out of one problem only to fall into another. Will they make before the cops catch up with them?

In this episode we are shown life from Sooz's point of view for the first time. On the outside, Sooz is a grungy, tough, unique, rebellious teenager with multiple peircings and dreadlocks. On the inside we learn she is quite insecure, and has a deep crush on her friend, Rob. Sooz is working on an art project and tries to photograph people's tattoos, but no one shows up to be her model. Jamie says it's because she scares men. Rob, seeing that Sasha is going out with a new guy, offers to pose for Sooz to get Sasha jealous and turns up at her house. Sooz takes photos of Rob's tattoo and the pair find they get on well. She ends up painting a tattoo on his back and while she trys to hide her feelings, they have a moment. Sooz lets spill that Sasha is getting serious with her new boyfriend but is unable to reveal how she feels to Rob.
