This history-making family, even with all the success it's had, the critical acclaim, and the adoration of its loyal fans, is still probably the most under-rated act of the "rock era." It sounds like a pretty bold statement, but think about it. How influential were songs like "Shout," "Twist And Shout," "This Old Heart Of Mine," and "It's Your Thing"? And that was before phase II of the Isleys story began. Now add to the list "That Lady," "Fight The Power," and "For The Love Of You." This was a living legend of a group at the time "Go For Your Guns" was released in 1977. Yes, 1975's "The Heat is On" topped the pop chart, but for my money, "Go For Your Guns" is the ultimate Isleys experience.

The "difficult second album" is one of the perennial rock & roll clichés, but few second albums ever were as difficult as Use Your Illusion. Guns N' Roses - Appetite for Destruction is the debut studio album by Guns N' Roses, released in July 1987 on Geffen Records. It was well received by critics and topped the American Billboard 200 chart. As of September 2008, the album has been certified 18 times Platinum by the RIAA, accumulating worldwide sales in excess of 28 million as of October 2008. The album is featured in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.

During one of Tracii Guns' infamous breaks from L.A. Guns, Killing Machine was unleashed upon the world. First impressions bring The L.A. Guns' American Hardcore to mind, yet a little more palatable. The first track, "Kill Machine", sets the tone for this semi-dark, semi-thrash release - "No feelings, no emotions, no beauty, no nothing," no shit! When "Shitkicker" starts cranking I dare you not to get up and turn your living room into a mosh pit, smashing whatever and whomever is foolish enough to not get out of your way.

Hellraisers Ball: Caught in the Act is a live music album by the L.A. Guns, released in 2008. It is the only album to feature Keri Kelli (lead guitar) and Brent Muscat (guitar). Recorded Live at Penningtons, Bradford 8th April 2003. L.A. Guns are an American hard rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1983. The band currently consists of Tracii Guns (lead guitar), Phil Lewis (lead vocals), Ace Von Johnson on (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Johnny Martin (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Scot Coogan (drums). The first incarnation of the group was formed by Tracii Guns and Rob Gardner in 1983 and merged with fellow Los Angeles group the defunct Hollywood Rose to form Guns N' Roses in March 1985.
