The ensemble consists of Pauli Lyytinen (tenor saxophone), Harri Kuusijärvi (accordion) and Eero Tikkanen (double bass). Sole Azul performs arrangements of existing tangos but also original music influenced by tango, with stylistic elements of jazz. The debut album of Sole Azul, Quasi Tango, is released this Friday on the 1st of February on Eclipse Music. The album features compositions from Harri Kuusijärvi, Eero Tikkanen, Ville Vokkolainen and Unto Mononen.
