"Fall In Love With The World" is the debut album by United Progressive Fraternity. Formed from the ashes of respected Australian progressive rockers Unitopia, the band sees Matt Williams, Dave Hopgood, Tim Irrgang & Mark 'Truey' Trueack joined by Guy Manning (Manning, The The Tangent), Daniel Mash (Maschine, The Tangent), & Marek Arnold. The album also features guest appearances from Jon Anderson of Yes, as well as Steve Hackett of Genesis.
Marian Gold (born Hartwig Schierbaum) is the lead singer of the German synth-pop group Alphaville and has also recorded as a solo artist. Gold's first solo album, So Long Celeste, was released in 1992. Included on the album were cover versions of "The Shape of Things to Come" (originally by The Headboys) and "One Step Behind You" (by Furniture). The second solo album, United, followed in 1996.
Featured on 1994's Red Hot and Cool compilation, the Japanese production trio UFO heads a loose collective of musicians and vocalists present here. Jazz, R&B, trip-hop, Spanish, Caribbean, and Brazilian rhythms all appear in one form or another; surprisingly, these disparate elements flow well through the course of ten songs.
