What does the world’s most watched mega-event and a remote indigenous community have in common? A forgotten indigenous tribe in Borneo is devastated by a merciless logging company. Determined to find the source of the forces ravaging their ancestral forest, three tribesmen take matters into their own hands and follow their stolen wood. This sets in motion a quest which will take them to Tokyo, and the heart of the Olympic phenomenon.

A porch-stompin', fiddle-sawin', bass-spankin' hootenanny with punk and gothic undertones, this is the folk band from North Texas' greatly anticipated follow-up to their self-titled album. The Bodarks are “a genre-creating string band…that's developed its own unique Americana music,” says Buddy Magazine. Selected as a Shiner Rising Star finalist in its first year (2013), the Dallas-area band has been described as having “all kinds of cool elements from bluegrass to ragtime.” And Chuck Taylor of KHYI 95.3FM (Dallas) likened them to Old Crow Medicine Show, Pokey LaFarge, and The Avett Brothers. In recent years, The Bodarks have side-staged for Kansas, Pat Benatar, Gary P. Nunn, Wade Bowen, .38 Special, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Violent hurricanes and severe drought have decimated once fertile areas of Central America, with the region's rural poor worst affected. Hunger and child malnourishment is widespread, prompting an exodus of migrants to the United States. Reporter Guillermo Galdos tracks the journey of Gonzalo, who desperate to give his family a better life, risks his own by employing a network of people smugglers to illegally enter the US. The film reveals how climate migrants have become a valuable commodity in a booming trade and in a region controlled by crime cartels, some are paying the ultimate price.
