Black Tie White Noise was the beginning of David Bowie's return from the wilderness of post-Let's Dance, the first indication that he was regaining his creative spark. To say as much suggests that it's a bit of a lost classic, when it's rather a sporadically intriguing transitional album, finding Bowie balancing the commercial dance-rock of Let's Dance with artier inclinations from his Berlin period, all the while trying to draw on the past by working with former Spider from Mars guitarist Mick Ronson, collaborating with Let's Dance producer Nile Rodgers, and even covering inspiration Scott Walker's "Nite Flights."

Two years after the release of his highly acclaimed LP Carry The Ghost, Seattle native NOAH GUNDERSEN is ready to debut his newest body of work entitled White Noise on 22nd September, 2017 through Cooking Vinyl. As the first introduction to the bolder sound on his third studio LP, Gundersen has unveiled a lyric video of “The Sound”, which is out now through all streaming platforms.

Anthrax replaced longstanding vocalist Joey Belladonna with John Bush (of Armored Saint) and released the surprisingly melodic and predictably pummeling Sound of White Noise. Producer Dave Jerden, who had worked with Bush on the last Armored Saint disc as well as releases for Alice in Chains and Jane's Addiction, helped Anthrax channel its energy into the shape of the post-Seattle metal sound…

Black Light/White Noise is the second studio album from rock musicians duo Adrian Smith and Richie Kotzen, released on 4 April 2025. The first promotional single "Black Light" was released on 20 November 2024, followed by the second one titled "White Noise" published on 21 February 2025. The third single entitled "Outlaw" was released on 9 April 2025. Smith/Kotzen is the musical collaboration between musicians Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden and Richie Kotzen who is a member of the Winery Dogs and also a solo artist in his own right. White Noise is the debut single from the hugely anticipated second album, Black Light/White Noise, by the world class partnership of vocalists/guitarists, Adrian Smith & Richie Kotzen. This thrilling track takes their unique collaboration up a notch, as their modern approach, both on the fretboard and vocally evokes their love of classic hard rock. This anthemic, call to arms once again showcases the songwriting prowess of these two musicians for their worldwide legions of fans.
