One of the greatest albums in rock history, The Who's first album is back in US spec! The Who's first album "The Who Sings My Generation" (mono & stereo/no chart record) was released in April 1966. The order of some of the songs was changed, and "I'm a Man" (Bo Diddley/55 cover), which was on the UK version, was replaced with "Instant Party" (apparently because of its sexualized lyrics). The UK version of "Kids Are All Right" is an edited version of the single. The cover of the US version, with Big Ben in the background, has a great atmosphere, and it is no wonder that many fans prefer it to the artwork of the UK version. This disc is a 2-in-1 coupling of mono and stereo versions of all 12 tracks from the US version. ~Excerpt from the commentaryCommentary: Masaru Konishi

Leoš Janácek (1854–1928) composed the song cycle The Diary Of One Who Disappeared at a time when many people already considered him on a par with the other two masters of Czech national music, Smetana and Dvorák. The inspiration for the autobiographical ‘Diary’ came from a few enigmatic lines of poetry in two editions of the “Lidove noviny” (People’s Newspaper) of May 1916. Although this work is Janácek’s most important original song cycle, his keen interest in the folk songs and dances of his Moravian homeland resulted in a plethora of arrangements, making this music also accessible to the classical concert hall.

But it wasn’t. He became wobbly and weak. Within days he had collapsed and was in hospital, unable to move or feel his body.
